As expected, pre-tournament favorites Tommy Haas and Philipp Kohlschreiber will face-off Sunday for the BMW Open 2013 title.

#3 seed Haas easily defeated Ivan Dodig 6-4, 6-3 to reach his second final this year so far.  His last title came at the Gerry Weber Open against Roger Federer on June 17, 2012.  Dodig had played tremendously to reach the semifinals but could not get by Haas, who beat him for the second time in a semifinal this year.

Defending champion Kohlschreiber needed to go the distance against countryman Daniel Brands, 6-7 (7-4), 6-3, 7-6 (7-5).  He will try to become the first three-time winner of the BMW Open and the first to repeat since Franco Squillari of Argentina back in 1999 and 2000.

This will be the fifth meeting between Haas and Kohlschreiber and first time on clay.  The series is tied 2-2, all the previous meetings were on grass including last year at Wimbledon.

The first all-German final at the BMW Open in 48 years will start at 13:00 CET.
