Borussia Dortmund ran away from Cologne 6-1 to maintain their 5-point lead over pursuers Bayern Munich, who won 3-1 at home against Hannover 96.

SpVgg Greuther Fürth shook off their last-minute loss in the German Cup semifinal to Dortmund and took out their frustration on Karlsruher, shutting them out 3-nil and hold a four point advantage over Eintracht Frankfurt in the promotion battle.  Frankfurt play tonight, hoping to build on their lead over Fortuna Dusseldorf for the automatic spot to the Bundesliga.
